Nicki Minaj knows how to give a surprise. It was night 2 in Toronto, and she surprised the audience as she collaborated with her longtime collaborator Drake. The rapper joined Minaj for a performance and braced the audience with her hit song “Needle.”
Minaj is on her Pick Friday 2 World Tour and has stopped in Toronto on April 30th Tuesday, and the rapper surprised his hometown audience with a cameo. And not just that, their duet performance was electrifying.
She shared photos and videos of her performance with Drake with the caption, “#GagcityTORONTO NIGHT 2 was a magical moment in time that I’ll never forget. I REALLY freaking LOVE you guys!!!!!!!!”

Drake and Minaj have recorded 10 songs together, and Minaj expressed her excitement over social media about the reunion and called it “a magical moment in time.” Drake left the stage with a subtle hint which could be for Kendrick Lamar.
